Two things that I have done well this year are Writer's Workshop in LA and blogging in Math. I did well in Writer's Workshop because I write in a regular basis and have a the right amount of write ups in time. For math I feel that I've done well in my blog posts.
Two areas that I need to improve are the weekly math tests and finishing my music class projects. I need to improve on my math tests because I often forget when they are and I am also forgetful about my music class projects.
My goals for the rest of the year are to get higher marks in Math, Music and French class. Right now my marks in these subjects are too low for me, so I will study harder for math and french tests instead of getting lazy and remember when music class projects are due.
My goals for becoming a better learner are asking questions when I don't understand something, and to write important dates in my agenda so I won't forget to study for tests or forget the due date of my assignments.

Dear Giselle,
In looking at your work, I would like to compliment you on:
I honestly think that Famous Birthdays are hard to make. These reports take lots of work but also a lot of patience. I improved with every Famous Birthday by adding new things or fixing my mistakes. I think my strongest points in writing these reports are my introductions and personal opinions in the famous person. The area I need to work on the most is reading over my work and fixing my grammar and spelling.

Our assignments were inspired by the book The Hockey Sweater by Roch Carrier. We had to write a report about a Canadian hockey player and make a 3D visual relating to an object in the sport hockey. In our 3D visuals we put excerpts from our hockey report.

Geometric Design: On a piece of grid paper we were suppose to make a 3D design. I picked this piece because it was one of my favorite projects in art class. Making the geometric designs were really fun and interesting to me.
Still Life: Our still life was a drawing of objects that told something about us. The still life was drawn with contour lines which are continuous lines. I chose this art piece because it has something about me and I got a good mark.
Creative Cube: The creative cube is made by drawing different designs on each square with one object. I drew my watch in different ways and colored each square. I chose this art project because I like the out come of the final piece and my final mark.
