Two things I have done well this year are math and science.
Two areas I need to improve on are Band and Social.
My goals for the rest of the year are to become better at writing in Language Arts, and not to procrastinate for assignments and tests.
My goals for becoming a better learner are to use my work time wisely, and try to enjoy learning something rather than thinking it is something you are forced to do.

Dear Kevin,
In looking at your work, I would like to compliment you on:
I know Kevin is doing good, but I want Kevin to do his best to reach his goals.
I can help you reach your goals by:
Remind Kevin and tell him to do best with our knowledge.
Sincerely,

Famous Birthday Reports

Each famous birthday report I did needed corrections, of course. As we kept going on with the reports, I corrected and revised it, and got my peers to correct it also. So I've learned from these corrections to improve my future reports. I've always had problems thinking of a really good introduction or conclusion, but usually I end up finding a good enough introduction/conclusion. I think the parts I do best in are, spelling and grammar. I usually don't have very many spelling errors, or grammar errors. One of the areas I think I need to improve on are use of punctuation and revising. I know how to use most punctuation but sometimes I use too many commas and get confused of when to use semi-colons. Sometimes my sentences are out of order and start to become confusing to the reader, I don't like this in my report and I try to fix it. Sometimes I also repeat my sentences and don't notice it. I could improve these errors with more practice. They say practice makes perfect.
Hockey Player Report
Tim Horton
We spent about a week or two writing a report on a chosen hockey player. In these reports we included the hockey player's history, background, family, goals and achievements. Basically we wrote about their hockey career and life. After we finished our report, we revised it and corrected it, and made a final copy. That is when we handed it in for marks. After that we made a three-dimensional visual object. This showed, and described our chosen hockey player's personality and awards and other things. This was also worth marks.

Theoretical and Experimental probability
These two types of probability are different. Theoretical probability is the likeliness of an event happening based on all outcomes. It basically means, "what should happen". On the other hand, Experimental probability is the ratio of the number of times the event occurs, to the total number of trials. It is what really happens after you have trialed.
